Special Educational Needs
At Little Blossoms we hope to provide a fully inclusive environment for any child with a special need in safe and secure surroundings, to enable them to achieve their full potential. We use a shared space, but do have wheelchair access and can make some adaptations where necessary. Any child with special educational needs in our care will have full access to the foundation stage curriculum. We work in partnership with parents, appropriate professionals, and supporting bodies when required to put this in place.
Lucy Burcombe, is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, and is happy to talk with any potential parents about their child’s needs. Lucy also runs regular Theraplay sessions at Little Blossoms, and Ewa offers speaking groups to give all children the same opportunities before they start school.
All our staff have received Autism training, and we are always looking to improve on our knowledge and understanding of children with SEN.
