Outings and visitors
At Little Blossoms we believe it is enriching for the children to go on group outings, and to have specialist instructors and visitors come into the nursery to share their knowledge and teach us new skills.
We visit Bath City Farm, where we feed and interact with the animals, look at the plants and minibeast habitats, play in the park and have picnics with great views.
We also visit The Egg Theatre in Bath. Recently we saw Polar Bears Go Up, which linked with our topic Up, Up and away.
We travelled on the bus, and the children enjoyed lots of new experiences and laughed a lot.

We regularly visit local parks, the children enjoy going out into the community; learning about their environment, and working on their physical development on the play equipment.
We had Balance Buddies come in and visit us. They taught us about road safety and gave us a lesson in using the balance bikes.
Fi from Beats Dance Bath taught us dance lessons once a week. Each week was themed around a topic and the children used props and their bodies to express themselves to music.
We visit a local care home once a half term. This was a great idea that came out from our parent questionnaires.
