Our fees are invoiced termly before the start of the term and must be paid within two weeks. If fees are not paid a reminder will be sent out, if after two days fees are not paid an administration fee of £10 will be added per day to your next invoice.
Children can only start nursery if their fees have been paid.
Parents/Carers are required to give a school terms notice to reduce the number of sessions attended or to terminate their child’s place.
If your child is sick, or if you go on holiday full fees are still required to be paid.
Disruptions to service (Force Majeure)
In cases of disruption to service Little Blossoms will do everything in its power to operate the service where it is safe to do so. However, severe disruptions may require the closure of the nursery or reduction in service. In such cases full fees remain payable during any period of closure as we still have the same overheads. Examples of force majeure include but are not limited to: extreme weather (including snow and ice), other acts of God or third parties outside of the nursery's control including disease, legislation, disruptions to highways, public transport, utilities and industrial action.
Funding
Our basic costs are primarily met by the "Early Years Entitlement" grant we receive from Banes. The rate we receive from Banes for 3 and 4 year olds is currently £5.27 per hour for 3/4 year olds. As is the same with other pre-schools in Bath, we find this funding is insufficient to cover our costs, so we ask parents and carers for a voluntary contribution of £20 per funded session for food and resources . This contribution covers resources (toys, equipment, art supplies etc.) training, cleaning products, outings, PPE, stationary, higher staffing ratios etc.
(If you believe you may have difficulty in paying this contribution then please contact us directly to discuss further options, you may also be eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium EYPP) We do offer fully funded sessions on a Monday and Friday 9-3. Please contact us for more information on this.
Funding can only be used between the hours of 9-3. All hours outside of this must be paid in full.
Reserving a future space
If you would like to hold a space part way through an academic year, we ask you pay a retainer fee. This is because we will be holding the space that we could otherwise fill. The retainer fee is a non-refundable £100 per academic term.
